Before you start

[ ] The legal name and 9-digit EIN of each additional business
[ ] Or, for a business someone else set up: an invitation from its manager, or access to the email HOST has on file for it

Steps — add another business

Click the organization name in the top bar → Add organization.
Enter the name and EIN → Continue.
If HOST already has the business on file, complete the claim (code or manager approval) — see 2. Organizations.

Steps — switch

Click the organization name in the top bar.
Pick the business. Every page reloads for that organization.

What is per business and what is per person

Per organization (changes when you switch)	Per user (same everywhere)
Company Profile, People, Documents, Jurisdictions, Filings, Transactions, Integrations, API keys, Team Members, subscription and invoices, your role	Login email and password, two-factor authentication, Referrals

Your Dashboard layout is saved per organization, so you can arrange each one differently.

Done when

The top-bar menu lists every business, and each shows its own data when selected

Guidelines

Check the top bar before uploading transactions, approving returns or claiming referral credit — all three act on the selected organization.
Each business needs its own complete setup (WI-2 · Complete your company setup), bank account, payment method and API keys.
