When to use this โ€” you run several legal entities, or you're a bookkeeper or accountant handling ResaleCertify for more than one client.

The model in one paragraph

One login can belong to many organizations. An organization is one business entity, identified by its EIN. Almost everything in the app โ€” registrations, vendors, company details, the authorized officer, team members, billing, and setup progress โ€” belongs to an organization, not to you. Exactly one organization is active at a time, and its name is shown in the top bar.

Check the top bar before you do anything consequential. Adding a registration or downloading a certificate under the wrong organization is the single easiest mistake to make here, and registrations can't be deleted afterwards โ€” see WI-3.
