Why this page matters more than it looks

Everything on Company Details is printed onto every certificate you generate from now on. The page says so at the top: "These details appear on every resale certificate you generate."

Certificates are snapshots, not live documents. Changing your address here does not update certificates you already sent. Those PDFs keep the old address forever. After any material change, reissue to the vendors who need current details — WI-5 for one, WI-6 for many.

Two cards, saved separately:

  1. Company Information — address, contact details, product descriptions
  2. Authorized Officer — who signs, and their signature

Steps — update company information

  1. Sidebar → Company Details.
  2. Edit the fields in Company Information.
  3. Click Save Changes on that card.
  4. Confirm the toast: Company information saved.

Legal Business Name and EIN are greyed out here and cannot be edited. The page explains why: "Legal name and EIN are set during account creation and cannot be changed here — contact support if either needs to be updated."

Legal name is editable exactly once, during the setup wizard, before any certificates exist. After that it's locked because changing it would silently invalidate every certificate issued under the old name.

Save Changes stays disabled until every required field is valid. All of them are required — including both product descriptions.

Steps — change the authorized officer

  1. Scroll to Authorized Officer.
  2. Edit First Name, Last Name, Title.
