When to use this โ€” you've started buying from a new supplier, a vendor asked you for a certificate and they're not in your list, or you're cleaning up an outdated list.

Before you start

Every certificate is addressed to one specific vendor. No vendors on file means nothing to download โ€” the download dialog will simply tell you so.

For each vendor you'll need: name, street address, city, state, postal code, country. All six are required; there are no optional fields.

Use the vendor's remit-to or corporate address, not your local branch. It prints on the certificate as the seller, and it's what the vendor's tax team matches against their own records.
