Before you start

• [ ] The business owner's email address
• [ ] To claim account credit: you're a Manager of the organization that should receive it, and it's selected in the top bar

Steps — send an invite

1. Sidebar → Help & Tools → Referrals (or the Refer a business tile on the Dashboard).
2. Enter the email, optionally a first name and a short note (up to 1,000 characters).
3. Click Send invite. You'll see "Referral invite sent to …"

Steps — claim rewards

1. On Referrals, find the row showing Filing client.
2. Click Claim $750 credit — it's applied to the selected organization's billing account. (Not a manager? The row shows credit awaiting a manager; ask one to claim it.)
3. Click Claim $250 gift card — it's sent to your email.

Done when

• The row shows Credit claimed and Gift card claimed
• Rewards to claim returns to 0

Guidelines

• The referred business must sign up with the email you invited for the referral to be credited.
• Rewards unlock when the business becomes an active managed-filing client on a paid plan — not at sign-up.
• The credit goes to whichever organization is selected when you click; switch first if needed.
