Before you start

• [ ] A work email you can read right now
• [ ] Your business's legal name and 9-digit EIN (from your IRS EIN letter)
• [ ] If a coworker invited you: their invitation email — use that instead of signing up (jump to Joining an existing organization)

Steps — a brand-new account

1. Go to https://app.handsoffsalestax.com/login and click Sign up.
2. Enter first name, last name, email, a password of 12+ characters, and the same password again. Click Create account.
3. Open the confirmation email from Hands Off Sales Tax and click the link.
4. Sign in with your email and password. (A typo shows Incorrect email or password.; an address you haven't confirmed yet shows a Resend confirmation email button.)
5. On Add your organization, enter the legal name and EIN (digits only) and click Continue.
6. You'll see Organization ready. and land on the Dashboard.

If instead you see Enter your verification code or We're waiting on a manager, HOST already has your business on file. Follow Claiming a business that already exists on 2. Organizations.

Steps — joining an existing organization

1. Open the Accept invitation link in the email your manager sent.
2. Enter a password (12+ characters) twice and click Accept invitation.
3. You land directly in the organization. If you belong to several, pick one on Choose an organization.
