To connection, or reconnection your QuickBooks application with Hands Off Sales Tax, follow the steps below.

  1. Login to the HOST Sales Tax Center. URL: https://app.handsoffsalestax.com/
  2. Once logged in, ensure you have selected the company you intend to connect (if you have more than one), and navigate to the “Filings” tab. The direct URL is https://app.handsoffsalestax.com/filings.

  1. From within this view, find the “Data Connectors” section and “Add New” button. Click “Add New.”

  1. In the screen that follows, find the “Connect to QuickBooks” button and click it.

  1. This option will redirect you to a QuickBooks login, in which you can sign in to the store you are looking to sync with Hands Off Sales Tax. Complete the sign in process as prompted.

  1. As you follow the login prompts, you will eventually find a screen that asks if you would like to connect your QuickBooks store with HOST. Click the “Connect” button to continue.

  1. After clicking the “Connect” button, you will be redirected back to the HOST Sales Tax Center where you will find your QuickBooks store listed under the Data Connectors on the “Filings” page.

  1. At this point, the QuickBooks connection has been established, and HOST will begin syncing data on a daily basis. Don’t worry if you disconnected and reconnected, the data sync will resume where you left off.
